La Trenzas

The Trenzas columns originate from the façade of a heritage home in the famous, upscale district of Polanco in Mexico City. The home was demolished during the 1985 Mexico City earthquake, and its remains were salvaged by original co-founder of Suquet, Ramon Masana, and taken back home to Vancouver. “Trenzas” in Spanish means braids, which run down the sides of the columns.
